About The American Cigar Co.

At The American Cigar Co., we are more than a cigar house—we are curators of America’s rich tobacco heritage and stewards of artisanal legacy. Our mission is to celebrate and evolve cigar culture through craftsmanship, storytelling, and historical preservation.

Our portfolio includes Antebellum, a 100% American-grown puro inspired by the early-to-mid 1800s—a period when cigars emerged as symbols of American identity, industry, and camaraderie. Complementing this is the forthcoming Exsul—a luxury Dominican release crafted entirely from Cuban-seed tobaccos and hand-rolled using the traditional entubado technique. Together, these brands exemplify our commitment to honoring both domestic terroir and global craftsmanship.

Beyond cigars, we preserve and interpret their cultural significance through our affiliate publishing arm, The American Cigar Press. America’s Cigar Story offers a definitive chronicle of the industry’s influence on American business, labor, and politics, while Smoke & Oak explores the shared sensory and historical legacy of bourbon and cigars. The latter also includes a first-of-its-kind pairing guide—featuring tasting techniques, a full-color Bourbon & Cigar Pairing Wheel, and curated examples from acclaimed distilleries and artisanal cigar houses—serving both professionals and enthusiasts across both industries.

The American Cigar Co. is not a single brand, but a house—a commitment to craftsmanship, historical integrity, and cultural depth across every leaf, line, and legacy we touch.
